The ELTiS 2.0 (English Language Test for International Students) is an assessment specifically designed for high school exchange students planning to study in the USA. It evaluates English proficiency in reading, listening, and comprehension skills.
How long does the test take?
The ELTiS 2.0 test typically takes about 75-90 minutes to complete, including all sections for reading and listening comprehension.
What equipment do I need?
You'll need a computer with stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps), a working webcam and microphone, and a quiet testing environment.
When will I receive my results?
Official test results and certificates are delivered via email within 2-3 business days after completing your test. You'll receive a PDF certificate that can be shared directly with exchange programs.
Can I retake the test?
Yes, you can retake the test by booking a new session, There is a 10 days mandatory waiting period between attempts.
Is the test accepted by exchange programs?
Yes! The ELTiS test is recognized by most major exchange programs in the USA, including CIEE, AFS, Rotary Youth Exchange, and may others. Our officially proctored certificates are accepted worldwide.
How does proctoring work?
You will receive an email with all the instructions you must follow.
We strongly recommend following them carefully to avoid your test being invalidated. Through our proctoring platform, you will start a session in which you will authorize camera and screen sharing, and then begin your test. Please make sure not to stop or close the proctoring session until you have fully completed the test.
What if I have technical issues during the test?
Depending on the flags identified during the review, the outcome may vary. If the issues are determined to be on your side, the test will be invalidated and you will need to reschedule a new one. If the technical issue is confirmed to be on our end, a new test will be assigned to you at no additional cost.
